Outdoor Rehabilitation Program

Durgin Pines is proud to have constructed an innovative, real-life outdoor rehabilitation program. This comprehensive system mimics the primary surfaces and activities required in most people's daily outdoor routines. Ground treatments include sand, cobblestone, brick and concrete. Mobility rehabilitation utilizes parallel bars, ramps and stairs.

A first of its kind in Maine, this coordinated approach works to fully prepare patients for both indoor and outdoor daily living upon returning home.
